CHRISTOPHER LAW was named president of Cue Digital Media. He will work with senior leadership on the company’s expansion and will oversee management of its digital news, sports and entertainment platforms, which include National Football League, Bleacher Report, CNN and CNN Money. Law has more than 25 years of experience in media leadership. As well, the agency brought on TONY LUCCISANO as head of sports and entertainment sales. ANGUS BALDUCCI joined the Cue team as director of programmatic sales, while DEBORAH GUROFSKY joined as manager of strategy and innovation, a newly created role within the company.
Zulu Alpha Kilo made six additions to its team. PAM PORTSMOUTH joined as senior producer, bringing over 20 years of experience in broadcast and digital content production. She comes from JWT where she spent over five years working on clients such as Tim Hortons, Mazda Canada, Diageo and Johnson & Johnson. LAURA DUBCOVSKY joined Zulu’s production team as a producer. SAMANTHA LEIRSCH and NADAA BAQUI joined as digital producer and digital production coordinator, respectively. Leirsch was most recently at DDB working on the VW account and Baqui joined Zulu from Yangaroo. JAV SAEIDI joined the agency from Vision7 Communications in the new role of HR generalist. And, ANNA CUMYN joined the creative team as art director.
SOPHIA COTE and IZABELA LESZKO joined Citizen Relations as account managers. In addition, CRYSTAL KWON was promoted to account director and CECILIA KIM was promoted to senior account executive.
The Marketing Den added GARNET MCELREE—who has a decade of experience as a creative director at agencies like Cossette, Ogilvy and BBDO—as a partner. The Saskatoon-based agency made the hire after winning clients such as SaskTel, Saskatoon’s Royal University Hospital Foundation and SaskWater. McElree will be the sixth partner at The Marketing Den.
