On The Move: Hires at Ketchum, Shikatani Lacroix, Embr

A weekly update of who's headed where in Canadian marketing and communications

DAVID MORELLI (above) was appointed as Ketchum Canada’s new SVP in Toronto. He brings more than two decades of brand, corporate marketing and communications experience. Morelli was most recently at TD Bank as associate vice-president of corporate and public affairs. In the past, he was director of marketing at SickKids Foundation and director of public affairs at Tim Hortons. In his new role he will provide marketing communications strategy and counsel to the public relations agency’s largest clients.

Shikatani Lacroix added four members to its team. LISA LIU was named an intermediate designer, branded environments. She was most recently at Telus. LEE PHOTAVATH joined as a senior designer, branded environments. LEANN ZHOU was hired as an architectural technologist and HILDA LAM joined as project manager.

Embr, a Toronto-based experiential agency, hired KERRY DWORET as senior account manager. Dworet makes this move after spending more than 10 years at S&E Sponsorship and Diamond Integrated. In the past she managed experiential sponsorship activations for Scotiabank, TD Bank, SiriusXM and Baycrest Foundation.

CRAIG BELCHER was named Rhoddy Marketing’s new vice-president of strategy. In his new role Belcher will help build the Toronto office’s experiential, sales, merchandising, and digital marketing efforts, as well as at the agency’s Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary outposts. He will also be leading the business development team. In 2009, Belcher founded Brand Momentum and worked with clients including Nestle, Red Bull and Kimberly Clark.
