Havas Worldwide appointed CORY EISENTRAUT as VP creative director in Toronto. Eisentraut has distinguished himself as a creative director at Cundari over the past five years. Havas also hired art director NATEE LIKITSUWANKOOL as senior art director, from Y&R Toronto and before that Dare Vancouver, and associate creative director BRIAN ALLEN, from Critical Mass in Calgary.
ChizComm hired LIVY JACOBS as communications director. Jacobs has worked in PR for nearly a decade, having started in public affairs at Scotiabank in 2006. She’s also worked for High Road and most recently Felicity. Her expertise includes reputation management, influencer and press relations, sponsorships, events and product launches.
BBC Worldwide brought on SANDRA MACKECHNIE as Canadian VP of digital sales for BBC.com. She’ll be responsible for developing BBC’s cross-platform business in Canada. MacKechnie has been an executive at Postmedia since 2011, where she led digital advertising. Before that she was director of digital sales at Rogers.
Cohn & Wolfe hired CHAD JEUDY-HUGO as public affairs director at its Montreal office. Though originally from Ottawa, Jeudy-Hugo has spent most of his career in Europe, where he was most recently a director for Kreab Gavin Anderson in Brussels. Over the past decade he has held various positions in government and public affairs.
Notch Video added BRENT MARTIN, former founder of Canova Media, as an executive producer. Martin has worked with Notch in the past on the Canadian Tire Ice Truck documentary, and his films have been screened at SXSW, TIFF and on CBC.
Narrative PR hired a new account manager, STEFANIA YARHI. Yarhi is an established freelance fashion writer and photographer, having contributed to the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Elle Canada and Loulou. She has also published a fashion blog, Textstyles.ca, for the past seven years.
