GCI Group added TAMARA STEFEK to its consumer lifestyle practice as director. Stefek is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic communications programs with an emphasis on experiential and integrated marketing. Stefek was most recently corporate manager of public relations at Metropolitan Hotels.
Toronto agency MonkWilliams welcomed IAN TAYLOR as digital design director. During his career, Taylor has held positions at Ogilvy and Gee Jeffrey & Partners (now Blammo). At MonkWilliams, he will work on the Molson Coors, Zoocasa and Nestle brands.
MALCOLM MCLEAN joined Cundari as its EVP, strategy, insights and planning. McLean, previously vice-president, director of strategic planning at Grey Canada, has also worked at BBDO, Cossette and Lowe Roche. His new role includes strategic leadership and overseeing the planning group.
ISAAC GARCIA and ADAM ROMANO joined Jam3 as senior interactive designer and interactive designer, respectively. Garcia most recently served as creative lead at 2Advanced Studios in California, where worked with brands such as Lexus, Disney and Toyota. Romano joined Jam3 from Playground, where he held the art director for nearly four years.
Hill+Knowlton Strategies hired VICTORIA SAVOY as assistant consultant within its Toronto office to work with the firm’s corporate and public affairs team. Savoy was most recently a public relations coordinator at Restore Our Water.
Oboxmedia added three new members to its Toronto team. JAMIE FINE and LAYLA YACOUT joined the agency as account executives, and CAITLIN LUTES is now campaign coordinator.
Media City welcomed NATHALIE EDMOND MCQUADE as senior sales executive to its Montreal sales team. McQuade has 26 years of media experience having worked at Quebecor Media Sales, Metromedia Plus, Neo-Traffic and Rogers Media.
