Microsoft Advertising hired QUIN MILLAR and promoted LIZ AVIADO to advertiser team leads. Millar recently managed national broadcast and integrated sponsorships for CBC. Prior to that he held positions with Metro Canada, Postmedia Network, Canwest and the Toronto Sun. Aviado started with Microsoft Canada in 2010 as a senior account executive. She has also held positions at Postmedia Network, St. Joseph Media, and The Globe and Mail.

Counsel appointed LINDSAY BROADHEAD as vice-president. Broadhead has over 15 years of experience working in corporate communications and issues management in the Canadian and European markets. She spent the last seven years with Hill & Knowlton in Toronto.

RENEE NEPTUNE joined Vancouver-based branding agency Studiothink as director of new business development. Neptune spent the last two years as a digital consultant and freelance web designer at Elev8 Digital Solutions.

Toronto agency Elixir hired ANDREW WONG as senior integrated director. Wong was most recently an account director at Mash+Media, a position he’d held for the last five years. He started with the Mississauga agency in 2006 as a senior account director. Prior to that has worked at the Ford Motor Company as a contest and incentive marketing analyst.

AUBREY PODOLSKY joined Edelman as an digital account director from Publicis Canada where he held the digital strategist title. Podolsky has also held positions at Capital C, Match Marketing Group and Sysomos.

Mackenzie Investments appointed SU MCVEY as senior vice-president, marketing to oversee the company’s marketing for the retail, strategic alliances and institutional channels. McVey has more than 27 years of leadership and marketing experience in the financial services, advertising and direct marketing industries, most recently as vice-president, customer communications and marketing at BMO.

Holding company MDC Partners named LORI SENECAL, chairman and CEO of its KBS+ agency network, the president and CEO of its Partner Network division. She will remain global executive chairman of KBS+ while ED BROJERDI steps up become CEO of KBS+’s New York operation. ANDRE COSTE expands his role with the Partner Network, becoming its COO.
