NICOLE FOWLER joined National Public Relations in Toronto as vice-president and lead of the firm’s marketing practice. Fowler has more than 15 years industry experience and has worked with clients in the consumer health, food, CPG, automotive, real estate and sport industries. She has held positions at Twist Image and MacLaren McCann Interactive.

MacLaren McCann bolstered its creative team in Toronto: MIKE LEE, group creative director; JONATHAN CARELESS, group creative director; ERIK DELA CRUZ, senior writer; MIKE NITSOPOULOS, senior art director; CHAD BURNIE, intermediate art director, MITCH ROBERTSON, junior writer and junior art directors ROBIN SOUKVILAY, ERICKSON MELTON and STEFFI RAIKE [Full story].

MediaCom Canada named GRANT CHANNER its SVP, business director to oversee the agency’s new business development strategy and marketing initiatives. Channer has spent the past two decades working at various agencies in the U.K. and Canada, and on accounts within the finance, beverage and travel sectors. [Full story]

GCI Group (GCI) added one new team member and promoted two within its Toronto office. SHARON FERNANDES joined the firm as director of digital and talent planning, while ANYA KRAVETS was promoted to group manager of digital health and LAURA MAIZE to consultant, digital.

Media City welcomed JAY BAGUIORO, ADAM SILVERTHORNE and ELYSE BEVAN to the Toronto office as senior sales executives.

KAREN KESKINEN joined InMotion in Ottawa as director of business development. During her 25-year career, Keskinen has held positions at Labatt Breweries, Rogers, AirForce, Ashbury College and Healthpartners. In addition to her new role, Keskinen teaches a public relations course at Carleton University’s School of Journalism.

Abcon Media hired HAGAI GROISMAN as its new account manager. He brings over five years of print and marketing experience to the team. He was most recently with Knowlton Development Corporation.
