Rivet‘s Toronto agency has hired Andrea Cook as its new president.
Previously a senior vice-president and national business lead at Cossette, Cook arrives at the FCB-affiliated agency in the Interpublic network to further develop its customer relationship marketing and data marketing capabilities.
“Andrea gives Rivet the bench strength it requires to help our clients successfully navigate and compete in today’s data-driven, digital environment,” said Tim Bowen, CEO of FCB Canada, in a release. “Looking across the industry, there are not a lot of people who have her experience and abilities. She has a brilliant record of building high-performance teams that deliver effective, award-winning work for clients.”
Bowen added that Cook is a particularly strong fit for the “data-driven” creative agency because of “her passion for great creative and using data and digital solutions to deliver multi-channel, customer-centric communications.”
Before her two-year stretch at Cossette, Cook worked at Proximity, Grey, Rapp-Collins and DDB in increasingly senior account management roles.
Rivet’s client portfolio includes CIBC, Purolator, Nestlé and the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corp.
