After years on the publishing side, Robert Jenkyn has returned to his former agency home, landing back at Media Experts.

robertjenkyn-280x300Jenkyn was previously at Media Experts for more than six years, working as senior vice-president of digital solutions from 2006 to 2012. He left the agency in 2012 to work as head of creative solutions at Microsoft and then moved to The Globe and Mail to become managing director at the media company.

A round of changes earlier this fall saw him exit the Globe, and now Jenkyn is back at Media Experts, this time as EVP of the agency. What’s different this time around is the agency is no longer an independent shop, which is where Jenkyn’s role comes in.

He told Media In Canada that a major part of his responsibilities in the short-term will be working to integrate the DNA of Media Experts’ owner IPG Mediabrands into the shop.

“It’s an enviable position because I get to accelerate the commitment between the two brands,” he said.
