Virtually-run PR firm adds six members to its ranks

President says number model allows clients pay for brains, not bricks

Toronto-based virtual public relations and integrated communications agency Felicity has added six new team members to its ranks.

Fiona Bassett Cram will specialize in healthcare communications and stakeholder relations. She was previously communications and stakeholder relations manager at Roche Canada, where she led the strategy for multiple brands covering oncology, rheumatology, influenza and new product development. Before that, Bassett Cram was a healthcare communications consultant at Cohn & Wolfe Toronto.

Danielle Furlan will work as an account executive at Felicity. She was previously a senior public relations consultant at Toyota Canada and handled the Toyota, Lexus and Scion brands in Canada.

Elisa Birnbaum joins as an editorial/content strategist and journalist. She has almost 15 years experience writing for newspapers and magazines and worked as a current affairs producer at the CBC, History Television and TVO.

Completing Felicity’s media, blogger and influencer relations bench strength are Jason Chennette, Sonia Prashar and Marnie Ivanich. They bring a combined 50 years experience and specialize in media relations strategies.

Felicity president Amy Laski says the four-year-old firm helps clients achieve bottom-line objectives by allowing them to “pay for brains, not bricks, in our nimble operating model.” The agency now has about 50 people on its team.

Healthcare solutions company Dynacare has also signed with Felicity to work on several projects in the coming months.
