1Milk2Sugars grows its roster of beauty brands

PR firm adds Dermablend Professional and Bleu Lavande to its client list

Dermablend Professional, a L’Oréal Group brand that is set to launch its line of camouflage cosmetics in Canada, has chosen 1Milk2Sugars as its agency of record.

1Milk2Sugars was chosen because of its existing relationship with L’Oréal Professionnel and because the client was impressed with the agency’s work on the Clarisonic skin cleansing brand, says 1Milk2Sugars president Priya Chopra.

Bleu Lavande, a pioneer in the production of lavender in Quebec for body care and home products, has also chosen 1Milk2Sugars as its AOR. The company was not working with an agency before and hired 1Milk2Sugars through word-of-mouth.

1Milk2Sugars will help develop Bleu Lavande’s growing presence in English Canada.

“The Agency’s solid relationships with media and influencers alike will connect us with the right people to propel the brand forward,” says Valerie Lebranchu, marketing and product development manager at Bleu Lavande, which is based in Quebec’s Eastern Townships.

Milk2Sugars will execute communications activities for both brands including media relations, event organization, strategic partnerships and new product launches.

1Milk2Sugars will help develop and execute a social media strategy to support the Canadian launch of Dermablend Professional.

“1Milk2Sugars has a proven track record in supporting brands looking to enter the Canadian market and generating meaningful coverage,” says Vincent Maupu, brand director of Dermablend Professional and La Roche-Posay Canada.

Dermablend Professional, which was launched in Europe in 2004, is used to provide natural-looking coverage for minor to major skin imperfections.

Both accounts will be managed out of the agency’s Toronto and Montreal offices.

These two new clients will be added to the 1Milk2Sugars’ growing roster of beauty brands, which aside from L’Oréal Professionnel, includes Nivea.
