Wow, it’s been a while since we posted anything here. After Marketing was acquired by Brunico Communications in 2016, we put MarketingMag.ca in hibernation mode while we sort out how it fits in with its new siblings: strategy, Media In Canada and Stimulant.
But we had to turn the lights on again because there’s big news. After our popular 30 Under 30 program was put on pause, the program is back in a new form.
Media in Canada’s New Establishment initiative has merged with 30 Under 30, creating a new(-ish) program to celebrate pioneers in the industry at the junior and mid-career level regardless of their age. The renewed program is focused on junior- and mid-career innovators, and the 30-year age limit has been set aside.
There have certainly been a few other changes made in our year away. Perhaps most importantly, the program is now being broken up by discipline and will be run in several phases throughout the year.
So to kick things off, nominations are now open for media agency professionals. The nomination deadline is Nov. 17, 2017.
Media In Canada and strategy will expand the nominations to other disciplines in 2018.
We’re sure readers will have lots of questions. We’ve addressed a number of the most frequent queries in an online FAQ.
Ready to put forward someone’s name (perhaps your own)? We’re looking for nominees known to be exceptional by everyone around them. We don’t just mean they’re hard-working and a team player. We want to hear about results and achievements that prove that they’re New Establishment material.
Perhaps they’ve brought new insights into a campaign that totally changed the game for the client. Maybe they’ve made key business decisions that have set a precedent going forward. We want to know how nominees innovate and use their unique skill sets.
Nominations are open to media agency professionals now! Fill out our short nomination form today.
