This final list of 28 boxers (which includes two alternates for each team) was culled from more than 60 people from Canada’s marketing and media industries who took part in a two-week boxing bootcamp that tested their physical fitness.

“It truly is a lifestyle change for each fighter, committing to 12 weeks of intense training, pushing themselves to limits that challenge their body and mind,” said Michael Clancy, who founded Agency Wars when working as executive creative director at Brandworks International. He know runs Clancy’s Boxing Academy.

“These selected fighters and teams have decided to lengthen their life while strengthening their careers, plus supporting of a good cause.”

The red team captain, Mark Simmons, is a former Olympian and seven-time national team champion. His counterpart on the blue team, Mandy Bujold, recently won bronze at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland and is also a national team champion.

Last year’s Agency Wars raised more than $30,000 for its charities.

Marketing and Fight Network return as media partners for the event, which takes place Nov. 26 at Toronto’s Arcadian Court.
