Marketing readers on-the-go can now get the latest industry news on their smartphones – no stop at the app store necessary – with the launch of the new wireless website.

As of Wednesday, MarketingMag.ca has been optimized for all smartphones users.

We know our readers love getting the steady flow of news delivered each day, twice a day from Marketing Daily. But we also know those readers are away from their desk. A lot. Now all the latest news on marketing, advertising, media and PR will be on their phones as soon as they are published.

Mobile traffic to the site continues to grow. In April we had just under 10,000 mobile visits to the site. To better serve this growing segment of our audience we wanted to make sure their mobile experience was optimized.

The revamped mobile site launches with The Globe and Mail on board as a sponsor.

Readers should also be aware that we will we phasing-out the Daily mobile app, so make sure to bookmark MarketingMag.ca on your mobile device.

This is just one of a series of changes, big and small, our readers will see in the weeks and months ahead. Next week our redesigned print magazine will debut, along with slightly redesigned website which will be followed by a complete site overhaul in the fall.

As always, we’re happy to hear your feedback on these and other changes.

Sincerely,

Tom Gierasimczuk
