Bell Media has announced that luxury car company Audi is the exclusive sponsor of its new made-for-web series The Confession.

The 10-part multiplatform digital series, which will appear on CTV.ca, CTV Mobile and the CTV iPad App, stars Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland and John Hurt. Sutherland plays a hit man and Hurt plays a priest.

Nancy McConnell, director of digital sales at Bell Media Digital, said in a release that Bell Media “is quickly becoming a market leader for original made-for-web productions.” She also said that Bell Media Digital’s advertising partners have an “appetite for new, exciting, digital-first sponsorship opportunities.”

The Audi 6 will be promoted in video pre-roll for The Confession on all platforms. The promotion will also include co-branded leaderboards and big boxes across CTV.ca, and also within the dedicated microsite at theconfession.ctv.ca.

The Confession will premiere on Dec. 5 on the microsite, and the full series will be accessible on Dec. 12 on CTV Mobile on Bell Mobile TV for smartphones and begin on Dec. 19 on the CTV iPad App.

Bell Media Digital offers content via several platforms, including websites, apps, an online video network, user-generated content sites and mobile-optimized sites.

Bell Media Digital is a division of Bell Media, which is owned by communications company BCE Inc.
