Bell Media taps Kristie Painting for digital sales

Digital veteran was most recently with Checkout 51

Kristie PaintingBell Media has named Kristie Painting as vice-president of digital sales. Her appointment is effective Jan. 4.

Painting assumes responsibility for all national and local digital advertising sales across the company’s entire digital portfolio including web, mobile, tablet and app properties.

She has more than 20 years of experience in media and technology, having spent the past two years as VP sales for the mobile couponing app Checkout 51. She has also worked with digital companies including Olive Media, Yahoo and Doubleclick.

“I am pleased to welcome Kristie to our team and excited that Bell Media will benefit from her impressive experience in media and technology,” said Bell Media Sales president Stuart Garvie, in a release. “[Her] successful track record and strategic vision will position our digital sales and operations team perfectly as we continue for ongoing success in this ever-evolving landscape.”

Painting will work out of the company’s midtown Toronto office, and will work closely with the company’s digital sales and operations teams.
