Cieslok adds to Montreal-area digital inventory

Out-of-home company adds two large-format screens in South Shore area

Cieslok Media has added two large-format digital boards to its inventory in Montreal’s South Shore area, bringing its total number of its displays in the region to six.

The new two-sided structure is located on Autoroute 30, a bypass around the city that is travelled by more than 50,000 commuters each day and connects to the Trans-Canada Highway and the U.S. border. The route also serves as a gateway to other major cities including Quebec City, Ottawa and Toronto.

The 14-by-48-foot programmable screens offer advanced multimedia technology and are capable of social media integration, real-time events and day-parting. Each board is capable of displaying six 10-second ads in a loop.

Dan Starnino, vice-president of business development for Cieslok, said the board offers brands prominent, high-visibility inventory an area free from other distractions.

The South Shore region houses some of the region’s fastest-growing communities, including Châteauguay, Lery, Mercier, Beauharnois, Candiac and Sallaberry-de-Valleyfield.

It boasts a population of approximately 855,000 and is expected to grow 20% by 2031, with much of that growth being fuelled by families and young professionals. The area is also home to Quartier DIX30, a 2.7 million square-foot shopping centre housing more than 300 retailers.
