ClutchPR introduces budget-friendly ‘Get Press Now’ kit

Toronto shop offering how-to's and easy-to-follow steps to get company's started

ClutchPR has expanded into the field of social and digital influencer representation with a new division called ClutchCollabs.

The agency has also launched an online shop that provides PR advice to new entrepreneurs who would not otherwise be able to afford PR services.

“ClutchCollabs is an extension of what we’ve done at our agency for years,” says ClutchPR president Daniela Kelloway. “We have always cross-pollinated between projects, creators, clients and friends, so this direction comes naturally to us.”

The new division aims to connect influencers with brands, marketers and on such collaborations as digital influencer campaigns, sponsored blog posts, advertising campaigns, speaking engagements, brand ambassadorships as well as TV, book and film deals.

ClutchCollabs’ roster of influencers includes blogging entrepreneur Andrew Dobson of dobbernationLOVES.com, actress Katie Boland and blogger Paula Coop McCrory, who has 4.3 million Pinterest followers.

They join existing clients such as Erica Ehm of YummyMummyClub.ca and storyteller and marketer Jordan Axani.

The online shop is currently selling a starter kit called Get Press Now for those seeking effective PR on a budget. It’s priced in U.S. funds at $179 because the agency plans to service the U.S. market, Kelloway says.

Kelloway says the starter kit was developed after she heard entrepreneurs at a business incubator tell her they would love a low-cost alternative to PR. It includes how-to’s, easy-to-follow steps and answers questions like what journalists are looking for.

Not every brand has thousands to spend,” she says. “So for those who are savvy and DIY in spirit, this kit gives up some of our trade secrets.”

The agency also plans to sell starter kits for specific industries, checklists, social media resources and other resources at a variety of price points.
