It was a good night for Grey at the Crystal Awards Gala in Toronto on Wednesday night.

Canada’s awards show dedicated solely to radio advertising handed out seven awards to Grey including Best in Show for its “Russia” spot for Canadian Comedy Network. The same spot won gold for performance and two honourable mention – craft awards. Grey and Comedy Network also earned a craft honour for “Germany,” while Grey also took home two silvers for the Salvation Army’s “Frank.”

Other big winners of the night included Juniper Park, which came away with a gold, three silvers and a craft award, all for Ontario Electronic Stewardship.

Calgary-based Wax landed two golds and a craft for Parkland Industries; Rethink took home a silver, bronze and craft award for Playland and DraftFCB won a gold and two crafts for PFLAG.

Part of Canadian Music Week, the Crystal Awards were presented by Astral RadioPlus, Canadian Broadcast Sales, Bell Media Radio Sales and Target Broadcast Sales at the Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel.
