Roger Dunbar, The Globe and Mail‘s head of marketing and vice-president of digital media and business development, is no longer with the company.
In a memo to staff, Globe publisher Phillip Crawley said Dunbar has “left The Globe to pursue another opportunity… Roger put his marketing expertise to good use, building up our insight into audience trends in print and digital. His stress on the value of good data in defining business priorities will be a lasting legacy. We wish Roger every success in his future endeavours.”
Dunbar joined the Globe in 2004 as vice-president of advertising sales and marketing.
In 2007 he was named vice-president of digital media and business development while retaining top marketing responsibilities.
According to his LinkedIn profile, prior to the Globe Dunbar served as regional CEO at global airport retailer The Nuance Group and was a director of strategic planning at The Walt Disney Company.
