FINAL extension for the 2015 Media Innovation Awards

The deadline is now Sept. 18, and we're serious this time

It’s the final push – while we had originally extended the 2015 Media Innovation Awards deadline last week, we’re still getting lots of requests for some more time. We hear you, and we’ll be adding a bit more time to the submission period for this year’s awards program.

The new date to submit your 2015 MIAs applications is Friday, September 18th, at 5:00pm EST.

Be sure to read the category listings carefully for changes that have been made in 2015. In particular, be on the lookout for what you’d like to submit to the new Best Idea category (no submission fee is required). As we highlighted earlier, this new award will be the industry’s choice for the most thought-provoking concept they saw in Canadian media this year. It may not have had the biggest budget, but it made us all stop and think, “I wish I had thought of that.” We need your submissions and ideas to this category so the jury can select the top four entries during the judging days in early October. We’ll then put these top four entries to a public vote and announce the winner at our Media Innovation Awards Gala on November 12th in Toronto.

In case you’d like to get an early start on your social calendar for the fall, tickets to the 2015 MIAs Gala are already available to purchase. This year’s gala will take place at the Westin Harbour Castle.

We’re looking forward to seeing your submissions — be sure to mark September 18th in your calendars.
