Bell Canada has announced a new deal with GolTV that will see content from the 24-hour soccer television station delivered exclusively to Bell Mobility subscribers and visitors to Sympatico’s online portal.

Under the terms of the deal, Bell Mobility customers with video-enabled cellphones can now watch content that includes news and analysis of elite-level soccer teams and leagues around the world.

The content will also be available online at goltv.ca/sympatico.

Chris Doyle, vice-president of marketing for GolTV, says the arrangement allows his station to broaden its audience. “It’s a really valuable partnership given the tremendous reach that Bell has.

Doyle also says that GolTV’s soccer expertise and ability to create custom content will help Bell serve its soccer-loving Mobility subscribers.

“It’s really significant for soccer fans in Canada to have access to soccer content wherever they are,” he says.

Three GolTV programs—On The Pitch, Champions League Preview and Off The Pitch—comprise the exclusive content that will be available to Bell Mobility subscribers and Sympatico visitors. No live game broadcasts are included in the deal.
