Herscu & Goldsilver wins a League of its own

Year old Toronto agency takes over account from Edelman

Digital health platform League has signed Herscu & Goldsilver as its new agency of record for North America.

The account was previously held by Edelman.

Herscu & Goldsilver, which worked on a small project for League before obtaining the account, will be in charge of the company’s partnership and funding announcements and CEO Michael Serbinis’ speaking engagements. The Toronto-based agency is also in talks to handle League’s social media and events.

League is a digital health platform that connects people to a comprehensive network of health services and benefits. More than 100 companies in Toronto and Seattle are working with the company.

Founded last year by Corey Herscu and Samantha Goldsilver, the seven-employee technology and lifestyle public relations agency specializes in building brand awareness for startups and innovative products.

Herscu says the agency uses unconventional tactics to build brand awareness. “We think outside the box and use creative angles to gain coverage once traditional ideas have run their course,” he says.

For example, for client Bitmaker Labs, the agency petitioned the Canadian government to acknowledge code as a third official language.
