MediaCom Canada has appointed Jodi Brown as director of content of its Media Beyond Advertising (MBA) division.

This content marketing division provides clients with a full spectrum content solution. The content and communication it produces – which includes SEO, experiential and broadcast sponsorship – is distributed and supervised by MBA.

As the head of the MBA team, Brown will lead growth in efforts around branded content and experiential.

Brown was most recently vice-president, marketing and interactive at Metro Canada. Previous to that, she was with Astral Media for roughly five years, where her roles included content manager of interactive and consumer marketing manager for Family Channel.

She was also marketing director for TedX Toronto, where she led marketing, communications and research.

Urania Agas, MediaCom Canada’s senior vice-president, client service director, commended Brown’s cross-platform marketing expertise and collaborative style in a release.

MediaCom is a part of WPP’s GroupM companies.
