Juice Mobile has announced a new partnership with Astral Radio that will see the agency exclusively handle Astral’s mobile inventory in French Canada.

Pre-roll, rich media and multi platform ads are included in the inventory, which spans 17 French Canadian properties including Rouge FM, Boom and NRJ Québec.

The announcement, made Thursday, is the latest in a string of deals Juice has struck to exclusively sell mobile inventory on publisher apps and mobile websites. In April the agency announced a deal with Metro English Canada to sell ads on the mobile editions of all its newspaper sites.

Prior to that, Juice also inked an exclusive deal with Postmedia News and further partnerships with the BBC, St. Joseph Media and Corus.

Mario Cecchini, senior vice president of sales at Astral Radio, said his company  chose to partner with Juice to “accelerate the monetization” of its mobile properties. “Since Juice focuses on tier-one advertisers, we are able to maintain our commitment to bringing only premium brands to Astral’s properties,” he said.

“Juice  Mobile is excited to provide another large French outlet to our brand and agency partners,” said Neil Sweeney, president and CEO, Juice  Mobile. “Audiences are tuning into radio on multiple devices, and we are happy to enhance Astral’s mobile advertising opportunities.”

Astral Radio is the first French Canadian company to join Nectar, a mobile ad platform Juice debuted earlier this year at Global Mobile Congress in Brazil.
