We’ve seen OOH boards make clever use of light and shadows before, but this is the first tidal billboard that comes to mind. The fin of this anchored sign (designed by Taxi Vancouver) floats so as to always be visible at high tide. The board advertises the Vancouver Aquarium‘s sharks and rays exhibit.
Taxi said the execution earned 120,000 online impressions (driven by curious mobile photographers and social sharers) in the first week of its installation.
