Mary Kreuk joins CBC

The former Bell Media exec starts her new role with the public broadcaster Jan. 13

Former Bell Media executive Mary Kreuk is joining CBC/Radio-Canada as executive director, multiplatform media sales for Toronto and Western Canada. Her appointment is effective Jan. 13.

Kreuk has nearly 25 years of sales and marketing experience, most recently as vice-president of brand partnerships with CTV Television. She also has extensive client-side experience with companies including Peoples Jewellers, Pizza Hut and Kellogg’s.

In a release, Jean Mongeau, general manager and chief revenue officer of the CBC/Radio-Canada Revenue Group, called Kreuk an “accomplished strategist,” who consistently led her teams to “outstanding revenue and branding results, by bulding and maintaining quality relationships with her partners.”

Kreuk left CTV in 2013 as part of a wave of departures from the broadcaster’s senior management following its acquisition of the former Astral Media assets. She originally joined the company in 2001 as VP of customer marketing.

She will be based out of Toronto in her new role with CBC/Radio-Canada.
