Media Innovation Awards 2016: The Master Class convenes

Our co-chairs and jury discusses how agencies and brands achieve excellence

When agencies and brands gather for the 2016 Media Innovation Awards on Thursday night, it won’t just be a celebration of success: our co-chairs and jury see their choices as offering a lesson in creativity that can help educate the entire industry.

This clip shows the jury at work and features some context around the “masterclass theme” we’ve been pursuing for this year’s MIAs. Executives discuss the importance of telling a clear story, and why the bar has never been set higher.

“Everything’s going up a notch in terms of customer expectations and in terms of the number of vehicles and channels at our disposal to be creative,” Canadian Tire‘s Eva Salem, a MIAs 2016 co-chair, says in the clip.

Once you’ve looked at the clip, don’t forget to check out the MIAs 2016 shortlists Part 1 and Part 2 — and if you haven’t done so already, buy your tickets for the gala here.
