Free daily newspaper, Metro Halifax has increased its daily circulation by 20% to 30,000 copies.

With an increased press run of 5,000 copies, Metro Halifax will increase its maximize readership with a stronger presence in Dartmouth and surrounding areas.

Since its launch last February, circulation has averaged over 25,000 copies in the Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford and Lower Sackville regions.

Metro attracts an equal number of male and female readers, 70% of which are under 45. The Canadian editions are distributed in high-traffic commuter zones and public transport networks in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Halifax. Internationally, the newspaper is available in over 100 major cities in 21 countries and has more than 20 million readers daily.
