We may not see anything of Buffalo Sabres forward Matt Moulson on the NHL’s trade deadline day, but Sportsnet viewers will definitely see plenty of his (sort-of) namesake.

Molson Canadian has stepped up as the presenting sponsor of the Rogers Media-owned sports channel’s ongoing coverage of one of biggest events on the NHL calendar.

Molson brands were featured on all of Sportsnet’s platforms during its 10-hour coverage of Hockey Central Trade Deadline presented by Molson Canadian, including branding in the Sportsnet studios, TV billboards and the trade ticker. The brand also received on-air mentions from Sportsnet personalities and was featured in Sportsnet magazine’s trade deadline preview.

The beer brand was also featured in Sportsnet.ca’s “Trade Tracker” and the site’s “Trade Deadline” hub. Additional coverage came via Sportsnet’s radio and mobile assets.
