Now members of the professional networking site LinkedIn can follow companies with the simple click of a button.
In a blog post on its site, LinkedIn said the new “Follow Company” button “is a great and easy way to gain insights and stay connected” with companies that are of particular interest to a user.
Similar to Facebook, status updates will appear on the homepage. American Express, AT&T, Starbucks and Sony are among the brands that already use LinkedIn company pages.
According to its website, LinkedIn has more than 2 million companies in its network.
