Notable, an online hub for young professionals, is launching an awards program to “recognize the next generation of business and community leaders.”

Canadian professionals between the ages of 21 – 39 have until Oct. 14 to nominate colleagues or themselves in one of 14 categories at Notable.ca. Site members will then select the top four nominees across a series of categories through online voting. Notable and a judging committee made up of award sponsors – including Lexus Canada, Metro, ING Direct Canada and CP24 – will then select who is most “notable” in each category. The winners will be announced next month at a gala event in Toronto.

“Since Notable’s inception, we have been profiling Canada’s top up-and-coming and established young professionals,” said Julian Brass, founder of Notable.ca, in a release.

Notable launched in 2008 as Notable TV and focused solely on the Toronto market with coverage that includes video reports, blogs and photos under the business, fashion, culture and entertainment pillars.

Earlier this year the site relaunched with a new look, an updated name, extended coverage (Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal) and additional advertising opportunities.

Notable has a database of 60,000 young professionals, including site subscribers and social media followers.
