Online sales representation company Olive Media has promoted Karen Wang to director of sales.

Most recently sales manager, Wang joined the company as a sales executive in 2006. Her role as director of sales will see her lead sales operations in English Canada. Two managers and 10 representatives will report in to Wang, who previously did sales stints at Yahoo, AOL and Toronto.com.

Wang isn’t the online Olive employee to get a new business card. Thirteen other staff members in the Toronto office and one in the Montreal office have also been promoted to newly created positions in ad operations and sales.

For instance, in Toronto, Daniel Bosc and Laurence Patey are now team leads (for product operations and bilingual integrated campaigns, respectively), Donna Chang and Celeste Normington are now strategic account executives (for performance and mobile, respectively), Kandace Homer is now integrated sales executive and Marla Natoli is product manager, mobile.

The company has also hired a dozen new staff. The hires include strategic account executives Jeremy Ienco and Audrey Oei in Toronto and Isabèle Richer in Montreal.

A partnership between Torstar Digital and Square Victoria Digital Properties, Olive Media provides a potential reach of more than 18.5 million unique Canadian visitors monthly through more than 80 English and French top-tier sites.
