Strong business leaders don’t work with blinders on. They tend to be idea sponges, constantly absorbing and adopting philosophies from the world around them.

Marketing recently pulled up a chair with Ted Markle, TC Media‘s new president, to ask about his inspirations and the solutions his company is creating from outside the traditional media model.

Markle was recently promoted from senior vice-president, content solutions at the company, which is the media division of TC Transcontinental.

Marketing spoke with him in the Canadian Living test kitchen at TC’s Toronto headquarters last week (yes, soup was sampled during the visit).
