St. Joseph adds two senior execs

Robert Lewocz and Anna Wells join media company's content and print groups

St. Joseph Communications has added to its senior management team, hiring two vice-presidents of business development for its content and print groups.

Robert Lewocz joins St. Joseph’s content division from ScribbleLive, where he was vice-president of agency partnerships. His 20-year plus career also includes various agency stints with Mediacom, Cheil Canada and Cundari, as well as client-side experience with both IKEA and Canadian Tire.

Lewocz will report into Doug Templeton, president of the St. Joseph Communications’ content group. In a release, Templeton praised Lewocz as an experienced advertising and marketing leader, possessing entrepreneurial spirit (he also owns a Toronto restaurant called Uncle Betty’s Diner) and “boundless enthusiasm.”

Anna Wells joins St. Joseph Communications as VP of its print group, after spending two years running her own consultancy. Prior to that, she spent nearly four years with Starcom MediaVest Group as a group media director.

Her resume also includes sales roles with Canwest Media’s Marketing Ventures team, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and the CBC, where she was manager of sports and Olympic sponsorships/promotions.

“Anna has in-depth strategic expertise working with marketers, sales organizations and agencies in cultivating multi-faceted client solutions,” said Ray D’Antonio, executive vice-president of sales and marketing at St. Joseph Communications’ print group, in a release. “Her experience and philosophy for best-in-class outcomes was completely aligned with our vision.”
