Reality show guru Mark Burnett is behind a new TV game show bound for Ontario’s CHCH channel.

The half-hour series Spin Off is set to debut as part of the primetime lineup this fall.

CHCH’s parent company Channel Zero describes it as a “game of trivia and chance” where contestants can win thousands of dollars.

The weekly series is hosted by Elvira Kurt and was shot in Toronto.

The format was developed by One Three Media, a joint venture between Burnett and Hearst Entertainment. Spin Off is being produced by Morgan Elliott of the Toronto-based Suddenly SeeMoreaProductions.

CHCH is available to more than 92% of Ontario households and can be seen nationally on satellite.
