Take an office tour of Twitter Canada’s new digs

Two years into its foray into Canada, the network trades up for a bigger office space

Nearly two years ago to the day, Twitter Canada opened its doors. At the time, the company’s Canadian outpost set up shop in a modest space in Toronto’s downtown core. It has since moved west down King St. into bigger digs.

As the company prepped for its May 6 opening party, Marketing took a tour of the new space where the local team will continue to woo CMOs to join its flock of advertisers.

Shailesh Rao, vice-president of emerging markets at Twitter, said the office is “a validation of everything [Twitter Canada] achieved in the last two years, both in terms of growth and innovative inspiration.”

“It’s also a milestone in terms of signaling our continued bullishness in Canada going forward,” he said.

Here’s a look at the webby – and distinctly Canadian – new office space.
