Transcontinental’s TC Media has grown its digital ad sales business, entering into new partnerships with Hearst Digital Media and Homes Publishing Group.
TC Media now represents Hearst’s beauty and style property Elle.com, its affiliated decorating and design site ElleDecor.com and lifestyle property WomansDay.com.
TC is already the publishing partner for Elle Canada and Elle Québec, “so it was only natural to have them represent our US-based brands… in the Canadian market,” said Kimberly Lau, vice-president of business development at Hearst Digital Media, in a release.
The agreement with Homes Publishing Group will enhance TC Media’s “Home and Garden” category. The sites included in the agreement are Greater Toronto Area new home buying guide HomesMag.com, Toronto condo market and lifestyle guide CondoLifeMag.com, decorating and renovating site RenoAndDecor.com, new home and communities guide ActiveAdultMag.com for Ontarians 45 and older, and Canadian relocation guide MovingTo.com.
With the new sites added to its portfolio, TC Media’s digital network now earns 13.7 million unique visitors per month in Canada. Advertising opportunities available on the sites include custom ad units that can be targeted by brand, category and audience. Sponsorships are also available.
