Toronto Star hires Rethink

Agency to focus on promoting the paper's print edition and tablet news products

The Toronto Star has hired Rethink as its agency of record.

The account, won without a review, will see Rethink create campaigns to promote the company’s print edition and tablet news products.

“We’re always looking for ways to grow our audiences on various platforms,” said Bob Hepburn, director of communications for The Star. “We’re looking to launch a La Presse-type table app sometime later in 2015.”

The Toronto Star has previously worked with agencies such as MacLaren McCann and Scott Thornley + Company.
