Since Jimmy Kimmel’s “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” segment exploded in popularity, the concept has turned into something of a format.
In the past two weeks, The Montreal Canadiens and Hootsuite have both posted “mean tweet” videos. Hootsuite, for instance, celebrates the new design of its dashboard, which has long had a web 1.0 look, with a video that includes CEO Ryan Holmes reading a cuss-filled tweeted about his “piece of s**t” user interface.
Our personal favourite: Hootsuite senior designer, Helen Park, agreeing the dashboard “looks like crap.”
