Marketing and communications agency Cossette has named digital and integrated marketing specialist Andrea Cook as its senior vice-president, national client lead at its Toronto office.
With more than 15 years experience in integrated, digital and CRM marketing, Cook will focus on Cossette clients for whom digital marketing is paramount, such as Telus Mobile.
Cook joins the Toronto senior executive team from Proximity where she spent the past four years as SVP, managing director. There she led and managed the digital footprint for Campbell’s across North America, including web, CRM and social media work as well as mobile executions.
Prior to that, she worked at agencies such as DDB, TBWA, Grey Advertising and Bensimon Byrne. Her clients have included Gillette Global, Rogers, Monster.com, BlackBerry, and Visa.
Cossette president and CEO Brett Marchand said he is happy the firm could attract such a great talent.
“With Andrea, we feel especially fortunate since she is among the top digital, CRM and mobile marketing thinkers in Canada. Andrea represents an important step forward in our goal to be the best in integrated communications,” he said.
For her part, Cook said she was attracted to Cossette because of the people, the clients and the agency’s commitment to integration.
“Owning the end-to-end, from media to mass to digital to CRM and mobile is truly the future,” she said. Integration is the language I speak. It allows us to really optimize dollars for our clients and overall to act smarter, better and faster.”
