Seven Canadians are set to sweat it out in jury rooms at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June.
The Globe and Mail, Cannes’ official partner in Canada, released the names of the Canadian jurists Tuesday afternoon.
• Angus Tucker, partner and creative director, John Street – Film jury
• Barbara Jacques, creative director, Cossette – Design jury
• Brian Sheppard, EVP and co-executive creative director, Saatchi & Saatchi – Promo & Activation jury
• Denise Rosetto, creative director, DDB – Radio jury
• Dre Labre, creative director, Rethink – Cyber jury
• Kelly Zettel, creative group head, Leo Burnett – Direct jury
• Sunni Boot, CEO, ZenithOpimedia – Media jury
The Lions are among the global industry’s most sought-after trophies. This year’s awards will be handed out during a week-long festival starting June 17.
Andrew Saunders, vice-president of advertising sales for the Globe, said in a statement “Our judges have earned a rightful place on the world stage, and we look forward to seeing Canadian creativity earn the top awards in Cannes.”

• Mainardo de Nardis, CEO, OMD Worldwide – Media jury president
• Ivan Zacharias, director – Film Craft jury president
• Bruce Duckworth, creative director, Turner Duckworth – Design jury president
