The Marketing Awards website is now live. Marketing is now now accepting entries for its 90th annual event.

While popular categories such as Branded Content make their return, the big news for this year’s competition is that it’s been merged with another of Marketing‘s annual award programs: the Digital Marketing Awards.

As we explained on the site: “Digital marketing has become ubiquitous. It pervades all that the industry has become – too big and too important to be separated from the biggest and most important awards show.”

Work entered in the 2011 Digital Marketing Awards will be eligible for the 2012 Marketing Awards so long as it was in market during the eligibility period for this show (March 1, 2011 to Feb. 29, 2012).

Information on eligibility, categories, fees and submission requirements can be found here.

Co-chairing this year’s award jury are Eva Van den Bulcke, co-creative director, Sid Lee, and Andrew Simon, partner, chief creative officer at Blammo Worldwide.

Stay tuned to Marketing Daily for further updates in the days ahead including the jury for 2012 and an announcement about changes to the judging process.
