After its gala awards affair in Toronto last week, the National Advertising Awards (NAA) has named the six teams its sending to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June.
The ninth annual NAA competition gives participants briefs across six categories – Interactive, Not For Profit, Out Of Home and Print as well as creative and media categories for junior participants. It awards gold, silver, bronze and merit status, with the best entry in each category winning a trip to Cannes for its creators.
This year’s France-bound winners are:
• Richard Tseng and Matthew Sharpe, Critical Mass (silver in Interactive)
• Lauren Miller and Elma Karabegovic, Draft FCB (silver in Not For Profit)
• Carson Ting and Justin Li, Rethink (silver in Out Of Home)
• Addie Gillespie and Mia Thomsett, Trees and Rocks (gold in Print)
• Elma Karabegovic and Jonathan Hotts, Draft FCB (gold in Young Creatives)
• Troy Edwards and Mats Kawana, OMD (gold in Young Media)
