Back in May we told you about Yahoo’s bid to move beyond content aggregation to become a content creator. It teamed with CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker on Cybergeddon, a web series series about cyber crime shot in Toronto.

We wrote, “The series will also feature… ‘very deep product integration’ with the anti-virus software manufacturer Norton, and be accompanied by standard pre-roll ads promoting Norton products.”

A recently release set of production photos show some of what that integration will actually look like.

“We want to make sure our advertisers’ brands are embedded appropriately within the series,” said Dan Unger, head of Yahoo Canada’s media network. “With its focus on cyber-crime, Cybergeddon fits very well with [Norton’s] message for the need for more online security.”

The series stars Olivier Martinez (Unfaithful) and Missy Peregrym (Rookie Blue)
