Metro names three new VPs

Free daily newspaper Metro has added three new vice-presidents to its executive team. Free daily newspaper Metro has added three new vice-presidents to its executive team.

Quin Millar was named vice-president of sales for Metro English Canada to lead Metro’s national, digital and Toronto regional sales teams. Millar joins from Postmedia where he was director of integrated advertising.

Steve Shrout has been promoted to the newly created position of VP and group publisher for Metro Western Canada, including Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Vancouver. Shrout as been with the company for more than four years.

Rounding out the new appointments, Jodi Brown is the new VP of marketing and interactive for English Canada. Brown has been with Metro for four years building Metro’s brand in Canada.
