Richards no longer at Media Experts

After seven months, Lauren Richards has moved on

Marketing has learned that Media Experts CEO Lauren Richards is no longer with the company. No reason was given for her departure.

Media Experts spokesperson Ian MacLean confirmed to Marketing this afternoon that Richards has left the company, but declined to elaborate.

“Media Experts and Lauren Richards have parted ways,” said an official statement released by the agency this afternoon. “We wish Lauren only health, happiness and success in her future endeavours.”

Reached via e-mail in London, Media Experts executive chairman Mark Sherman also declined comment.

Widely regarded as one of the country’s most astute media executives, Richards joined Media Experts last November after spending four fruitful years as CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group.

At the time, Sherman said that he set out to find the “best media person in Canada” and Richards was the only person on the list.
