The Calgary-based airline is looking for a “best in class” media shop to “move WestJet to be one of the the top five most successful airlines in the world.”

The account currently resides with the independently owned Montreal-based Media Experts.

WestJet put its creative account into review in February, finally announcing TBWA won the business last month. Taxi had been incumbent since 2005.

According to the RFI, eligible agencies must be able to provide support for retail, digital, direct and trade advertising.

Requests for comment to WestJet were not immediately returned.
