The best category experts in the grocery business take the stage at the annual grocery conference and exhibition to share best practices.

Grocery & Specialty Food West has introduced Raised by a Canadian Farmer Insights & Innovations Stage this year. Throughout the two-day trade show, there will be demos and presentations by leading grocery experts.

On Monday, Canada’s produce guru Pete Luckett will showcase how to showcase produce with pizzazz when it comes to merchandising in store.

He will be followed later in the day by Chicken Farmers of Canada with their session cheekily called “50 Shades of Rotisserie Chicken”. The experts from the team, led by Fraser Valley’s own top chef Angie Quaale, will showcase how grocers can take rotisserie chicken leftovers to the next level with easy HMR recipes and tips.

On Tuesday, Dairy Farmers of Canada’s Gilles Deschenes will demonstrate how to cross merchandise deli cheese to grow sales. Retailers will find out how to created excitement by carrying the right types of cheese through pairing demos, local cheese offerings and more!

To conclude the stage sessions, Ready Bake’s Monaghan Brothers, Mike and Don (aka The Dukes of Baking) will entertain the crowd with their take on how to outwit “Rosco P Redundancy and “Boss we don’t have any hours hog”.

The two-day trade show is Canada’s premier grocery event in western Canada. New pavilions focusing on high-growth categories in grocery on the floor this year include: Specialty Foods Pavilion, First Timers Pavilion, and Local Processors Pavilion.

Don’t delay! There are less than three weeks until Western Canada’s premier grocery show takes place. Register:http://cfig.ca/grocery-specialty-food-west/
