A VR skeptic wore the goggles for a week. Now he’s a believer

Watch the video where Neil Stevenson shares his virtual reality odyssey

Before the end of the week, Neil Stevenson found himself starring in a porn film.

“That was rather awkward at work. Plus I played the woman,” Stevenson, executive portfolio director at design firm Ideo, recalled in an interview at the recent Dx3 Canada conference in Toronto. “I cut it short.”

Stevenson isn’t really an adult film star. As he explained in his recent profile on Marketing, he’s always focused on trying to better understand the creative process and how he and his firm can help clients create better brand experiences. That’s why, even though he was initially resistant, he took a deep-dive into virtual reality. Watch the clip to learn more.
