James Prudhomme has left Montreal-based data analytics company Datacratic after four years leading the company as CEO.
Prudhomme announced the news in a heartfelt post on LinkedIn published yesterday.
In his post, Prudhomme said he was hired to create a “beachhead” for the company in the marketing technology sector “and lead the company through this initial phase of commercialization. While there were immense challenges along the way, I was successful in building an amazing business team, commercializing the technology and establishing significant revenue streams… The time is now right for Datacratic to focus on the founding vision and it’s a perfect time for me to move on.”
According to the company’s website, co-founder and CTO Jeremy Barnes has taken over Prudhomme’s duties as CEO. The company has not made any official announcement about the change in leadership. It did not respond to a request for comment.
Datacratic was founded in 2009 and provides machine-learning solutions for predictive data targeting in programmatic buying. It works with a number of demand-side bidding platforms, as well as global data management platform providers like Lotame and Oracle.
